My name is Kyle Robertson, and I’d like to thank you for visiting my professional site. The following pages contain various examples of my journalistic writing over the years, from internships and school positions to professional jobs in several capacities. Currently, I work as a Content and Social Media Manager at the American College of Financial Services, and pursue fiction writing in my spare time!
I graduated from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, with a major in journalism and minor in Spanish in 2014, and served as News Director for the nine stations of the Cayuga Radio Group in Ithaca, primarily News Talk WHCU. I’m interested in all fields of journalism and storytelling, including broadcast, writing, editing, and promotion on social media. I’m currently back home in Philadelphia, PA, studying at Rosemont College, and am a candidate for an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Publishing.
As a result of my career thus far, college and postgrad classes, and other activities, I’m experienced in multimedia journalism, utilizing social media and multiple platforms. I’m also comfortable using programs such as ProTools, Final Cut, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
